So today I finally started one of my life-goals: crochet.
I know it comes easy to most people but for me it just never seems to work. I mean yes I can knit, sure, that's just rows plain and simple. But crochet?
That's where I start to get... tangled up.
Yeeaaahhh
Well, failures aside I vow to make some progress before the end if 2012. My goal is a crocheted orange.

Polka dots and the Cell Cycle

So life has been progressing. My cells have been dividing and my chromosomes are splitting. That's life!
Anyways, I just canNOT wait until Thanksgiving. It is by far my most favorite holiday. Yes, people like to snidely say 'thanks for the genocide' but I still believe in the elementary school belief. Thank you Squanto!

Scarlet and Gold

By far one of my favorite color combinations.
It is really commonly used with lions i. e. Gryffindor or Lannister
And yes that's right, I am a Game of Throner; a Singer of Fire and Ice.
I like both the books and the show. I do agree that the subject matter is not safe for children ( or work ) but do you really need to put plot exposition in the middle of a sex scene? I mean really.

Galactic

So I tried another design by cutepolish, but with my own 'crap I don't own this stuff' spin. Her galaxy nails were super pretty and I think mine are at least admirable.
I used a q-tip and assorted nail polish colors.
I also got new perfume! I am obsessed with DKNY and Harajuku Lovers. Super excited!

I am quite active, doing Soccer and color guard and the like, but I just plain dislike the act of running.
Anyways, my dress from Sheinside came in. While it is very pretty, the fit is not quite comfortable especially around the sleeves. But! I am going to do some alterations and it will be just right.
This past week has been spent online window shopping and doing schoolwork and now I am finally taking a break.
So... I did my nails! I saw this on cutepolish and finally got around to it!
Here ya go! Hooray for tiny shoes!

Saturday shopping brings Sunday flopping

So I never mentioned it but my birthday was last Sunday!!!! Yay!
My big present was my new IPHONE. Yes I am now an apple girl (despite having a PC). The phone was released Friday and now I am just enjoying it.
Anyways, yesterday me and my mother went shopping down in Allen and I bought some things.
Here are my new shoes, some sephora treats and my nails today. Metallic Tiger grrrr.

Newsies and nails(ies?)

When I was in middle school Drama we watched the musical Newsies. I am pretty sure that I slept through most of it, but newspapers are so cool!
Every morning I read the comics section and the briefs in the main body. I subscribe to The Dallas Morning News and it is one of my favorite things ever. I just wish I would remember not to let them pile up bc then they get recycled and sometimes I don't get to read them.

But anyway, here are my nails!

 They have tiny newsprint on them. What I did was dip in rubbing alcohol for five seconds and then I pressed the paper and held for 15 seconds.
(but don't tell anyone they're from the sports section)
These were made yesterday and since the grey was starting to chip I put a red tip on my right hand and it looks pretty snazzy.
Sorry about no cats but hey, Statistics Homework!

Nyancat mas o menos

School is picking up speed. I mean really? A Thursday night football game and then a college essay due the next day? Ah well.

Well here are my nails, the red peeled off. What is funny is that as I was finishing applying the gray (you'll see) I realized that I can't wear nail polish to football games being in the colorguard and all. But pictures were taken and I will probly remove it tomorrow morning.

Labor day weekend leisure

Today I spent time with my friend who went to college in Oklahoma. Luckily it's only a couple of hours away so she can visit on long weekend like this one. The cats have been pretty silly lately, I suppose I should post a special 'kitty' post, perhaps soon.

I have to be careful with my money >-< but my birthday is coming up on the 16th so I am sure that I will replenish my coffers. Or I could get a job. Decisions decisions.

Bored... but busy

Okay, so school has already started (nevermind that band has been going on for what seems like forever.) and now I should start studying!

Now my only problem is a topcoat. All of mine seem really smeary and goopy.
